My Editing Reel
This video primarily showcases my video editing skills, while also highlighting my work in other roles. I fell in love with editing during my visual editing course where I earned my Avid Media Composer Certification. I love bringing stories to life through impactful editing, layering immersive sound design that deepens the emotional experience, and creating motion graphics that effectively communicate the project’s themes.
The Guess’s Wedding
For my older sister’s wedding, I decided to surprise her with a wedding video. Allow me to preface this by saying there was absolutely no plan for this project, not even a shot list. Although I wanted to gift my sister something meaningful, I didn’t want my focus to be on the video, but on being present and being there for her throughout the day. I took my bridesmaid role very seriously to the point that I had to give control to the audience, as I was in the wedding and unable to film. I flew to Kansas City with my cheap camcorder that I bought off of eBay and a dream. My only direction for this project was to make it feel authentic to Ragan and Cam. I didn’t want it to feel cinematic and perfect, but raw and personable. I think with my editing skills, I was successfully able to accomplish this goal.

A Ghost Has My Back
When a girl seeks solitude in the woods, she’s startled by a mischievous ghost who chases her down for her headphones, sparking a comical showdown over loyalty and what it means to have each other’s backs.
The Wallet
After a woman is stood up and leaves her wallet at a restaurant, a determined waitress tries to return it but accidentally drops it. When a little boy finds it, he embarks on an interesting adventure to reunite it with its owner, uncovering unexpected connections along the way.
